As I was commanded by [livejournal.com profile] mockduck to do this, who am I to disagree? Plus, I don't have the energy to write a proper update at the moment, so in lieu, here's a couple of pictures of me and the very lovely Mrs. McDingo on our wedding day...

The "very lovely Mrs. McDingo" really is very lovely!

She's a stunner! This is great; the first five entries on my friends page are wedding photos.

What's not to like about sharing photos of yourself looking about as scrubbed-up as you're ever gonna be?

Scrubbed up, and judging by my head in those photos, highly polished.

We were. We are!

By the way, Nell's home and well, so coffee and cake are back on the agenda if you fancy a trip down the road!

oh that's good to hear.

Love to, though it'll have to be after half term now - school play thing tomorrow, work on Friday, then off on our hols for the week on Saturday. Early June?

oh, and completely off-topic...

Here's a small and not great map of the Warren swimming place in Hay. The main thing is to turn right where the Swan Hotel is and go past the church. Keep going through the housing estate til the road narrows to a single lane speed control. Just on your right by the single lane section is a very small and rough-looking track which is signed as a bridle path. Go down there for about half a mile, and don't be put off by the huge potholes and puddles. At the end is a small car park, then it's a two minute walk down the field to the river.

Might get good weather again soon, you never know! Although next week is the Hay Festival so it could get busy down there.

Thank you so much for this. We had kind of planned on meeting my sister there next week, but the week's got so manically busy I doubt we're going to make it now. But I shall certainly check it out. Soon.

As for coffee - after half term is fine - as I said, I think we're madly booked up next week too. I'm clear at the moment for the following two weeks, except for Friday 13th when Nell goes in for a service.

Surely you have millions to post - I think I only saw one. Should I command you to post more?

It was having taste that led her to me in the first place, obviously.

I have every reason to be smug!

Hello, do you mind if I add you? [livejournal.com profile] mockduck's newest post indicates that you're up for being added and I've been considering it on-and-off in a lazy kind of way for a while...

Do I mind? Absolutely not! A couple of weeks ago I was this close, this close to asking if you minded if I added you as a friend, but thought that a random bloke turning up out of the blue might be a bit off-putting. So, er... thank you!

In all of the excitement of today's, erm, stuff, I almost forgot to reply! Just to say I'm glad you were glad I added you, I'm always worried people will think "oh no, not her" and then add me back out of British politeness. So basically my point was, Hurrah!
